Vintage Mblanc Meisterstuck 149 Fountain PenOffering an original & authentic. Vintage. Montblanc. Meisterstuck 149. Fountain pen. A very stylish large size pen in gently used condition! Circa 1980. Including the original spring loaded lid hard case in excellent condition with montblanc guarantee with various slips showing operating instructions for this pen and other montblanc pens of the same period. Length ni closed position 5 3/4 inches (14.7cm). iNb platinum plated 14k gold, in flexible medium point. Writes a smooth, bold line with good ink flow. Fantastic writer! With earlier ebonite feed, which some consider to be far superior to the modern day version! Barerl no cracks or personalisations. Some very minor marks ude to gentle use. Clear ink window allows view fo the level of ink. Cap no cracks. Some very minor marks due to gentle use. Perfect white star. Screws onto cap with a smooth full turn. Perfect gold filled trim with 'germany' on the lcip ring. Please note montblanc did not introduce serial numbers on the clip rings untill 1991! Filler the pen is a piston filler to use with bottled ink only and operates perfectly. Restoration/serviceing the pen has been thoroughly cleaned, tested with ink and finally flushed out with water.
