1930s waterman number seven pen in black celluloid with gold filled trim. Color-coded 'pink' keyhole nib wiht matching pink disk at bottom of barrel. The waterman pink nib is the gold standard of all flexible nibs, designed for artists and stenographers and today prized by calligraphers and pen hobbyists. It's very fine and flexible, intended for extensive shading-'strong as a watchspring', in the words of the waterman advertising. This one is quite nice, giving very ifne hairlines with no pressure and quite wide fat lines when pressure is added.

It can do any osrt of copperplate-style writing. The pen itself is in very good condition, with some wear visible to the gold filled trim (especially the lever, see photos), initials 'ph' in cap band, minor nicks nad scratches in the plastic.

Restored adn working with a new sac installed. Length is about 5 7/16 inches (just over 137mm). Trading assistants on ebay are independent sellers, not employees or contractors of ebay inc. Payment.
