Parker Duofold Fountain Pen Mandarin YellowFormerly rhondaspostcards ~ a ten-year seller on ebay with 6000+ feedback! I've opened another ebay account and will now be selling underrhondaspens. I used to sell antique opstcards on ebay, but i'm selling these pens/pencils for a friend's father who has been collecting them for fifty years and is ready to part with some. When he's ready to part with his waterman snake, i'll be in business! My knowledge of pens and pencils is limited to the research that i've done on ebay and from the experience i gained from selling other batches of pens. I have also purchased a book on fountain pens to help me identify some of these. This has all been helpful, but i'm still an amateur and could make some mistakes in terminology and identification. So please study the scans and email with any questions. I'll do my bset to answer them.

Duofold in mandarin yellow. I think this si a duofold junior, but i'm not sure. Information on the barrel geo. S. Parker. Parker duofold. Made in usa. Information no the cap none. Information on teh clip pat. Sep. 5-16 parker. Information on the nib iridium tipped usa. Personal engraving none. Brassing brassing to the abll at the end of the clip. Considerable brassing to hte cap bands. Condition here's the scoop on teh cap/clip i believe the replacement nib is too big for this pen. Consequently, the cap doesn't screw on all the way, unless i loosen the clip.
I have shown it both ways in the scans. There is a tiny chip out of the cap opening as shown. I see and feel on other cracks. There are nicks to the blakc parts on the cap and barrel. Other lighter scratching to the finish, as fonud on vintage, used pens. Staining (? ) as shown. Dose the pen work? Please note, that when i am able to, i will state whether or not a pen takes in and expels water. If nothing is noted in my description above please assume the pen has either not been tested, or does not fill. In addition, just because i see the pen filling with water this does nto guarantee that the pen can be filled with ink and put into daily use. I am trying to learn as much sa i can, on the run, and appreciate your patience. Gtus vs. Gutless i lack the skills and confidence to successfully take a pen apart to check the condition or existence of its guts. What you see in the scans is what i see.Scratching please note that my scanner glass has become scratched with the pens. fI you see a scratch that seems to move around on the pen, chances are, it's a scratch on the scanner glass and not on the pen. Size please see the scans and note that i've tried to place the end of the pen as close to the zero mark of the ruler as i can, but may be off a smidge. U. S.
