1939 Sheaffer Balance Fountain Pen RestoredPen is in xecellent condition it measures 4 7/8 inches in the closed position. It has the normal amount of light usrface scratches for a pen its age, but no chips, cracks, splits or teeth marks on the pen body or cap. The gold plated trim is excellent wiht just a touch of plating loss on each side of the clip ball.
The lveer filling system has been properly restored and the pen fills as designed the ink view section transparency is excellent and nears 100% clarity. The 14k #33 nib is a fine point it's been adjustde for smooth writing and proper ink flow. The imprint si excellent. Shipping and handling to destinations in the usa is $7.00 via insured priority mail.
